About the Head Camp Director

My name is Ryan Orlov. I live in Lower Merion, PA and attend Harriton High School.

My favorite activities are fishing, surfing, throwing around a football, and so much more. I am a huge Eagles, 76ers, Flyers, and Phillies fan.

I have had many unique experiences for school and sports. I have studied abroad in Austrailia/Bali and Israel. For baseball, I had the opportunity to play in Cuba and the Dominican Republic, as well as playing in MLB stadiums, played for USA Baseball's Team Freedom for 3 years in a row, and played varsity sophomore year. As a catcher, I am known for my leadership skills on and off the field. I believe in leading through example.

Academics are a high priority for me. I would like to study international business, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing. As of June 2019 have a 4.54 out of 5.0 GPA. While studying abroad my sophomore year, my G.P.A was 4.72.

In Lower Merion, I volunteer for the Challenger Baseball/ Basketball Program, which helps physically and mentally disabled kids play baseball/basketball, and specifically got to know one buddy Rocco. I am also the personal relations officer for a business program called DECA at my school.

In 2012 when I was only 10 years old, I started my own technology company . As CEO of Tech Know Pro, Inc., I have achieved success in growing my company and offering a great product. Last summer, I was a waiter at Camp Nock-a-Mixon, and served around 600 campers. This winter, I worked at Steelyard Sports, where I helped set up for sports teams and other activities. During the summer, I ran Schmoopy's Beach Party, which was an active child watching service on the beach.
